Geometric data structures can be used to successfully model droplet interfaces. What it needs is an optimization algorithm that implements free energy minimization via a faster and non-traditional path. In this work, a novel perturbation based algorithm had been developed by us(Thermal Fluid Transport Lab at IIT Patna) to optimize free energy by only considering the mean curvature of a droplet interface. Keeping this algorithm as a backbone several simulation strategies had been developed for dynamic droplets with hysteresis on inclined planes and varying Bond numbers in both two and three dimensions.
